Reporting contamination thread
« on: December 07, 2016, 09:50:14 AM »

I'd like to compile a list of names/best contacts for reporting spills and violations. After the Amos Falls contamination last winter, my growing concern has been water contamination.

But we all know it's about who you know and what they will actually DO about it.

So we need a list of charged-up environment loving do-gooders in positions of authority and influence.

The first up need I have is does anyone know someone in the Wildlife Management Area oversight or management, obviously in this case relating to spills?

The woman at KY Division and Water was helpful, but we'll see what they do.

I've collected the TENORM documents, if anybody is interested. It's a good thing, too, one of the server holding them was already down, who knows how long the other one would stay.

I need to follow up with the Ranger station about the Amos Falls thing, has anybody been out there lately - do you know if all the carcasses are still showing up?
