Dolly Sods WV again
« on: August 08, 2016, 06:13:55 PM »

I made it back to the Dolly Sods for 3 nights at the end of July. It was hotter than the forecast suggested making for a hard couple of days, but the scenery made up for it.

It ended up being ~5.5 hours to the trailhead, I think that it is worth the drive if you can get at least 3 nights on the trail. There is also a nice, but small campground to consider if you wanted to do a lot of dayhiking.

Here are a couple pics to tempt you, with a lot more pics and detail at my blog.

You're full trip report on your blog was outstanding.  Thanks for taking the time to share.  Now, between your report and the Sintax77 videos, I feel like I'm starting to recognize some of the sights.
