Looking for Sheltowee Trace Hiking Partner
« on: July 16, 2013, 09:49:27 PM »

Anyone interested in hiking the entire Sheltowee Trace? I am looking for someone that may be interested in thru-hiking the trace. I'd like to do this next May after my graduation before I begin in the "real world".
Anyone interested in hiking, kayaking, and camping...

I wouldn't be able to join you for a thru-hike but I would be more than happy to join you for a section, from three to five nights, preferably in the Big South Fork portion of the ST.

If you're interested in doing any training trips in the meantime feel free to send me a PM and we can try to work something out.

Also, if you have any questions about gear or backpacking tips feel free to post in here or PM me. I've never done a thru-hike but have spent 175+ nights out in the past six years and I worked for awhile at a gear shop in Lexington so feel like I can make pretty informed recommendations.
