Monday storm
« on: July 08, 2020, 07:27:59 AM »

A tremendous but narrow storm hit the Gorge Monday, July 6.  From Tunnel Ridge across the Military Wall, Martins Fork and on heading east, it took trees and branches down and left a very narrow path of debris.  The north end of the tunnel and the switchbacks were blocked.  We got there just as workmen were finishing clearing the tunnel and the road.  If you're entering the Gorge through the tunnel, look to your left and right for signs of it.
