Thunderstorms predicted out east so we went west to do some hiking.

Trail maintenance-6-8 feet of sloggy muddy mess

Dry bed at Saltpeter waterfall

Cliffline by waterfall

Saltpeter cave

Jones Keeney Natural Bridge

Picture perfect little pond in Pennyrile

and a small creek

A hornet & wasp found something sweet in a root

A fat groundhog hiding in a culvert

The cliff lines whisper "I have secrets to share".  But sometimes they lie!! :D
