Went on a site survey; got destroyed by chiggers n ticks more than I ever have on any single hike. Land owners were clear cutters. Awful.

Pink Floyd Pan pics?
« on: June 04, 2018, 07:29:53 PM »

Does anyone have a photo of the Pink Floyd Frying Pan that used to be at Red Byrd Arch?
The pan was still there about 10 years ago, but has since been removed from the area. I was describing it to a friend and peaked their curiosity about it, but I can't find the picture that I snapped of it. I would appreciate it if someone could share a photo of it.

Thanks,

Yes, I suppose it is quite random. There was actually some discussion on here about it several years ago. I think it was on the old board format.
The photo of the unusual carved hiking stick in another thread got me thinking about it. I often get asked about unusual things that I see while out exploring the woods, and the described pan sometimes comes to mind.
Unfortunately, the unusual items seen in the woods are often trash or other human influences on the environment, but they can still be memorable even after being cleaned up/removed.

I believe it was hidden back in that same corner when I saw it.
