I miss cypress trees and their reflections. I also miss seeing anhingas drying their wings in the sun. I don't miss the heat and humidity of SW FL :)

Enjoyed your photos.  I just visited the big slough, Shark River, with my wife last week.  The Everglades are pretty awesome!

Reelfoot, Blood River Seeps, Ballard WMA, etc... Might be some at the swamp in Louisville, too.  Also Bayou de Chien

Evidently I need to look around a little more or hike in some different areas. Now I need to find cypress trees in KY :)

there's a couple at Jacobson Park in Lexington even :) Not very big or very many. The best photos I got were from Ballard.
