The red was looking great yesterday. Wish I had time to go to Muir today.

Hang Em High Horse Camp, or White Oak Boat in; north a bit from there near Horse Lick Creek is the S-tree primitive camps, it's actually quite nice.
If you want large, then of course you're back to state park and lake campgrounds.

I'm looking for info regarding backcountry camping in the DBNF London District, preferably near Buck Creek.  Bee Rock and Rockcastle Campgrounds are both closed and we'd prefer to camp more primitively. Little Lick is small and best suited for horses.
Suggestions?

glad the weather worked for you.

I (and the family) headed south to TN. I had decided that the Cherohala Skyway was the place for me, a lot of other people had the same thought :)

Awesome experience, ready for the next one

Nice photos!  Did not try any, figured I'd leave it to professionals.

Left for Princeton, KY Monday morning and got there without issue. Enjoyed the eclipse with friends that live on Hopkinsville Rd.  It was 3 hours getting there and 5 hours back, not too bad considering.  Could have shaved an hour off the return if we had not had to make a bathroom break.

Looking forward to the next one, it's suppose to be about twice as long, 4:30 min!   ;)
