Big South Fork - Charit Creek
« on: January 23, 2017, 12:01:31 PM »

For our anniversary in late March, the wife & I are going to stay at Charit Creek Lodge for 3 nights. I've only been down there a handful of times, but most of my hiking has been out of the Leatherwood Ford area (once around the loop, another time was a creekwalk)

Is there a definite 'don't miss this' kinda hike around the Charit Creek lodge?

Twin Arches is nearby and is a "must-do" hike, for sure. Not sure how far from the lodge it is to Slave Falls and Needle Arch, but those landscape features are definitely worth checking out as well.

It looks about 2.5-3 miles to the falls from the lodge - That sounds like a great plan!
