McCormick Creek State Park
« on: January 04, 2017, 07:41:14 PM »

Rain predicted in the gorge on New Years Eve, so another trip up north for a hike.

Trail follows a small creek

A small waterfall along the trail.

Luna in a small shelter

McCormick Creek waterfall

Wolf cave goes through the hillside
Front side

Back side

Also on the back side are the Twin Bridges

On the way back toward I-65 noticed a sign for Medora Covered Bridge.

Hoping to visit the gorge soon.

Very nice! I used to gog to McCormick's Creek for a big family picnic every summer as a kid.

Picnicked at the bridge over the summer - if you haven't, check out Skyline Drive - nice little road that takes you up on top of the ridge just outside of Brownstown
