The red was looking great yesterday. Wish I had time to go to Muir today.

Hang Em High Horse Camp, or White Oak Boat in; north a bit from there near Horse Lick Creek is the S-tree primitive camps, it's actually quite nice.
If you want large, then of course you're back to state park and lake campgrounds.

I'm looking for info regarding backcountry camping in the DBNF London District, preferably near Buck Creek.  Bee Rock and Rockcastle Campgrounds are both closed and we'd prefer to camp more primitively. Little Lick is small and best suited for horses.
Suggestions?

agree, that is a great photo of those falls, now let's all stop talking about that area so it doesn't get overrun and trashed :)

What area? Nothing to see here.  ;)

That's the spirit :)

FWIW, I don't think it is terrible to mention the area as awesome, I just think it is a mistake to post a photo along with a name, it just makes it too easy to find online. I don't know if it makes sense, but my rule of thumb is post photos and no name/details or name/details and no photo.

I think that is why this spot is one of my favorite areas in KY.  It doesn't hurt that there is also a nice water feature at this spot.

Bark Camp Creek?

Bark Camp Creek is correct.  This picture faces toward the Cumberland River and the cascades are directly behind me.

Cool! I was sorta thinking Bark Camp Creek (I've hiked it twice coming from the trailhead on the gravel road and then on to Cumberland Falls -- great hike, by the way!) but couldn't exactly recognize it. Makes sense now.

A couple of hints:

1) That is the Licking River in the second picture.
2) The small meadow above the river in the first picture has a shelter made from hand hewn logs taken from a 1700's trading post that was originally at that site.

The pics from above are from Quiet Trails SNP in Harrison County.  Maybe you've been somewhere along here:
