Went on a site survey; got destroyed by chiggers n ticks more than I ever have on any single hike. Land owners were clear cutters. Awful.

I have recently replied to other member's posts and when I hit 'post' or 'preview' I get taken back to the login page... like it forgets I was logged in. It does this repeatedly. Like it falls asleep at the wheel.

I have used Firefox for years but I have found that other browsers work better with some websites.  I frequently use an "old" version of Internet Explorer for really stubborn programs.  IP security cameras seem to be very browser specific.  I am presently using the "new" Edge Chrome development browser and it seems better and faster than Firefox.  You might try logging in with a totally different browser to see if that helps.  Before I switched to Edge Chrome, I noticed that using Firefox, this site would not keep me logged in.  No matter what I checked, I had to log in each and every time I visited this site.  I have no idea why.  It doesn't do it with Edge Chrome.

I'm still over here scratching my head about this one. I guess we reached the end of all the places in the Red, and alone on top stands shaman, having stumped us all.

Ok, gang, each pic was taken from the red x's on the map, looking toward each other, across HWY 77 and Gray's Branch:

Lol! Yeah, just past the restroom, through the heavily camped area and out the northeast side and down a small rock ledge, and you are out on a sweet little overlook.

Found this neat little feature that is way out there, past Hatton Ridge out there. I know one regular member on this forum was in the general area about a year ago, so maybe others also have seen it.

You can see the opening from the "road" (term used loosely):

Entering it was a little surreal like a hall of mirrors:

I thought Bazinga had been there but I reread her old post:
We started down the Spaas creek rd, but turned back because it was a dirt road.

Well, there you go. You have to go from gravel, to dirt, to old Forest Service "road".  ;)
