The red was looking great yesterday. Wish I had time to go to Muir today.

Hang Em High Horse Camp, or White Oak Boat in; north a bit from there near Horse Lick Creek is the S-tree primitive camps, it's actually quite nice.
If you want large, then of course you're back to state park and lake campgrounds.

I'm looking for info regarding backcountry camping in the DBNF London District, preferably near Buck Creek.  Bee Rock and Rockcastle Campgrounds are both closed and we'd prefer to camp more primitively. Little Lick is small and best suited for horses.
Suggestions?

How about the location of this odd tree fall...

The blaze on the tree is throwing me off, but from the scalped ridgeline in the background it looks like Auxier Ridge Trail heading South.

Yes sir.  I put that blaze in the picture on purpose!  You're up.

Kind of looks like as you leave the rock shelter past Indian Staircase and go out the back way towards Adena.

That's correct! This picture is about 10 years old, but I do know it's the official #100 Sheltowee Trace Trail leaving Indian Staircase, heading south towards Indian Arch and Adena. This is where the trail gets close to the cliff wall, with Indian Staircase Connector Trail directly above.

You're up, duxsrus!

I know this one, but since I'm currently frustrating everyone over on the Where in Kentucky thread I'll sit this one out! For the record I haven't used it - but will someday when I get the courage.

Haha quick, yep you're correct.

The first time I went to Courthouse in my early 20's, there were already people on top and seeing that, I scrambled my way up there in a flash.  The way down was a little unnerving but it was no big deal.  The next time I made it back out there some 15 years had passed and I looked at that crack and said no way in h#$%!!!

disclose it to me!

My best guess isn't exactly RRG, but it looks a lot like Persepolis Falls at Muir.

The above waterfall is off of the middle fork of the RR and is well known.  I'll bet you can guess its name.

This unnamed waterfall is also off of the middle fork, but is much less well known.  Have any of you ever been here?
