Cub Run Cave - near Munfordville, KY
« on: March 22, 2009, 09:28:12 AM »

This is a fantastic privately owned cave. My guide was a family member who worked for over two years building the footpath through the cave. I like to go underground during the nasty weather. Here is a tip: Go off season during the week and you may end up getting a private tour. That has happened to me 3 times.

hmmm.....i don't see sweet potato cave on your site. it is located in smithland ky on private property. we used to go there a lot when i was growing up. it is a pretty big system! back in the day, permission was not needed from the owners as it was assumed you knew what the hell you were doing and weren't going to sue anyone. however, i am sure that has changed.

enjoy!

LMAO at how this thread went from caves to shady lawyers
ooooh........lol!
yes, thank god for ambulance chasers!
And!!! to take this thread further off subject...... No I don't thank god for ambulance chasers, I thank ambulance chasers for helping to skyrocket the cost of healthcare in this country.  The rest of my opinion on the subject of ambulance chasing injury lawyers belongs on a political website,  not on a outdoors website.

So anyone been to any nice caves recently??

yes, i agree! my statement was in total sarcasm ;)

i am in the healthcare field so i know a bit about this stuff. however, what is worse are the people that go along with this stuff. wave a dollar in front of someone and his/her morals and personal responsibility suddenly vanish. too many family members and patients are looking/hoping for a good law suit so they can get a new rhino to park next to their 1978 model trailer.

if you want to complain about the rising healtcare costs you cant forget to thank the medicaid and medicare people.

now, back on subject. no, i have not been caving recently. though i did find some small caves and a big fat mans squeeze in stone mountain wma last year.

enjoy ;)
